Puppies, Porn, Disaster, Click

This blog, if it could even be called that, is designed to hack you. It’s not going to send a virus to your machine. It’s not going to steal any of your passwords or monitor anything you do. I’m not after your computer, your data, or even your money (without your permission). I want you to care.

People click on things that interest them. Sometimes that’s pictures of dogs or cats, usually doing things that are abnormal for their species. Other times it’s porn. And I don’t mean naked people. There’s all kinds of porn now. There’s even a movie genre called Torture Porn, with examples like SAW or Hostel. There’s also disaster porn, like pictures of abandon or dilapidated buildings, which has it’s own Twitter account.

The point of all of it is to get you to click on the website, to drive traffic and make money for the host company. That’s my motive too. I’m promoting a movie. But, we’re not going to be using kitty/people/destruction porn.

Instead, we’re going to have text that will make you feel. We will link to an article in a famous website or blog or newspaper that’s related to the subject of the article. That tells the famous website that the article exists, and it lends a bit of credibility to my post. It’s like all the citations you had to do for your college papers.

Make no mistake, we’re gonna get political. We’re going to get controversial. We’re going to pique your interest and get you to read. And every single article will, in some way, be related to ALGORITHM. After all, that’s why this website exists in the first place.

So, hang on to your soul. You’re about to be hacked!
